Ireland ranked second in the world for competitiveness – report

Denmark ranked first, while Switzerland dropped one place to third

Ireland has been ranked second globally for competitiveness according to the IMD’s World Competitiveness Centre (WCC).

Denmark was ranked first, while Switzerland dropped one place to third, according to the report, which is the 35th edition of the ranking.

It covered 64 global economies via a mixture of hard data, including 164 competitiveness criteria selected from research of economic literature, international, national, and regional sources, and feedback from the business community, government agencies, and academics, ...
