Inflation slows to lowest level in over two years

Consumer prices fell by nearly one per cent between October and November of this year

The rate of inflation rose at the lowest level since September 2021, according to the latest data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 3.9 per cent between November 2022 and November 2023, down from an annual increase of 5.1 per cent in the 12 months to October 2023, according to the CSO.
