US President says relationship between Ireland and US is growing ‘stronger and stronger’ ahead of meeting with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar

US President Joe Biden said the relationship between Ireland and the US is growing “stronger and stronger” and praised Ireland for the role it has played in welcoming Ukrainian refugees ahead of a meeting with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar today.

Biden and Varadkar addressed reporters ahead of a meeting at Farmleigh House this afternoon, with the US President saying it “feels so good to have this stronger and stronger relationship between the United States and Ireland”.
