Global IPO values up 7% in Q1 but Irish activity remains ‘subdued’

Initial public offerings (IPO) increased 7 per cent in the first three months of the year with companies raising $23.7 billion (€22.1 billion) from public markets, according to a report from EY.

High profile entrances, such as social media platform Reddit, helped bring deal value up 7 per cent compared to the same period in 2023, despite the number of companies entering the markets dropping 7 per cent to 287.
