Sinn Féin’s Eoin Ó Broin did not apologise to Antoinette Cunningham, general secretary of Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (AGSI), party sources have said.

The Business Post has been told that Ó Broin clarified during a call with Cunningham why he tweeted a mocked-up image that depicted Gardaí in an artist’s portrayal of Famine-time eviction, but did not apologise.
