The illegal occupation of a Donegal abattoir was the “nail in the coffin” but Edenmore Farm Meats was destined to fail long before the incident, a liquidator has told the High Court.

John Healy, of Dublin-based Kirby Healy Chartered Accountants, denied that the reason the company failed was because of an illegal “takeover” of the premises which allegedly involved threats from the INLA.
