Economy performed ‘reasonably well’ in the second quarter – McGrath
Inflation was at an estimated at 4.6 per cent in July
The domestic economy performed “reasonably well” in the second quarter of this year, Minister for Finance, Michael McGrath, said.
He was responding the ‘flash’ estimate for GDP in the second quarter from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
Early estimates indicate that GDP increased by an estimated 3.3 per cent in quarter two, when compared with quarter one 2023, according to the CSO.
