Earnings and revenue increase at Irish Continental Group

Passenger revenues increased by 13.8 per cent

In the first half of 2023 the group carried 229,100 cars on its ferries

Earning and revenues at Irish Continental Group (ICG), the transport group that owns Irish Ferries, increased in the first half of this year.

Earnings before deductions increased 3.6 per cent to €49 million, while revenue was up 0.3 per cent to €264 million in the first half of 2023, according to interim results from the company.

Operating profit of €16.2 million was down 6.9 per cent year-on-year.
