Irish data watchdog staff will be sent on courses in artificial intelligence (AI) to address rising concerns about the power of the technology.

The Data Protection Commissioner (DPC) Helen Dixon’s office has confirmed that a number of staff are enrolled in UCD for the professional diploma in artificial intelligence for business which starts in May.
