Ownership of commercial property in Ireland has changed significantly over the last ten years. In 2006, the market was dominated by developers, syndicates and private investors with institutions effectively priced out. Purchases were fuelled by debt and investors were predominantly domestic. It is hard to believe that the peak was a decade ago and so much has happened in the intervening period.
