Chamber Ireland urges government to ‘make Ireland an easier place to come to work’ as SMEs face staffing issues

Almost 9 in 10 Irish SMEs are facing significant skills gap issues, according to a new study by Chambers Ireland, fuelling calls from the group to “make Ireland an easier place to come to work”.

The body, which represent commerce chambers nationwide, is urging the government to simplify the visa process to attract workers from other countries to tackle recruitment and staffing issues in small and medium sized firms.
