Ireland’s housing crisis and infrastructure problems represent a growing risk to foreign investment, according to a top official at the Central Bank.

Vasileios Madouros, the bank’s deputy governor in charge of monetary and financial stability, told TDs on Wednesday that infrastructure was among the two main risks to Ireland’s ability to attract and retain overseas investment – a sector of the economy worth tens of billions.
