Department stores Brown Thomas and Arnotts fell into the red in 2022 despite revenues jumping 26 per cent to €319 million, newly filed accounts show.

The stores recorded a pre-tax loss amounting to €1.4 million versus an €8.9 million profit in the prior year. The loss includes €6 million in costs, of which €4 million related to a write down of a software-as-a-service offering. The remaining €2 million in costs were linked to change in ...
