Amazon Web Services chief Adam Selipsky to step down

The move will become effective early next month, the company announced

Amazon’s highly profitable web services division is to get a new chief executive in the coming weeks.

The head of Amazon Web Services is stepping down after three years in the role, the company has announced.

Adam Selipsky, who has headed up Amazon’s cloud-computing division since 2021, is leaving his role and making way for Matt Garma, the unit’s top sales and marketing executive.
