AIB says online banking ‘working as normal’ after over an hour offline

Customers could not access their accounts on AIB’s app or website for more than an hour on Wednesday afternoon

AIB customers experienced issues accessing the bank’s online banking and app services for over an hour on Wednesday afternoon.

The bank issued a statement on X, the social media website, after multiple customers complained on the former Twitter platform.

“We wish to advise that we are currently experiencing intermittent technical issue with AIB Internet Banking, Mobile App, IBB and Cards SCA Journey,” the bank posted.
