Case filed in Massachusetts alleges how slots assigned to airlines is unfair

Aer Lingus has been linked to a multi-billion dollar legal dispute relating to the method used to allocate airport slots at major US airports, the Irish Independent is reporting.

The former national carrier is named as one of more than 80 defendants in a US civil action which centres on alleged anti-competitive practices in how slots are allocated to airlines.
