Funding is the “number one issue” for Irish tech companies, an industry group has said, as access to finance becomes increasingly difficult for many firms in the sector.

Martina Fitzgerald, the chief executive of Scale Ireland, has also called for a doubling of the Enterprise Ireland seed and venture capital fund, noting that the level “hasn’t changed in 15 years”.
