Binging is the new word we used to describe our TV consumption. The arrival of Netflix and the catch-up players make it possible to consume multiple episodes in one sitting: we bloat ourselves watching an entire season of Schitt’s Creek while lying almost comatose on a sofa. It’s a great indulgence for the long winter nights, but we know we shouldn’t binge. It’s overkill. Binging is bad.
