The US has long been described as the land of opportunity. Yet to find that opportunity, ambitious entrepreneurs and investors usually had to go where the industry and capital resided.

It’s a similar story in Ireland, where young people typically gravitate to the bright lights of Dublin to seek out opportunity. But not any more.
