On the doormats of tens of thousands of mortgage holders this week landed another letter from the credit servicing firm Pepper, informing them of yet another increase in their repayment costs. The increase had been trailed in the media with a press release stating that Pepper had a ​​“customer outreach campaign” for those who were struggling with their loans.
