Explainer: Will the British Isa revive the FTSE - and could it work for the Irish market?

The exodus from the FTSE ramped up again this week and the if Wednesday’s budget is anything to go by - the UK government is clearly feeling the pressure.

Announcing measures to push more cash into the British market, Jeremy Hunt, the UK chancellor, pronounced: “Today following calls from over 200 representatives of the city and our high growth sectors I will reform the ISA system to encourage more people to invest in UK assets.”
