Something terrible is happening in Russia. The plane crash in which the warlord Yevgeny Prigozhin was presumed killed last week testifies to how far that great nation has fallen. A year-and-a-half after its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, it is on a path to catastrophe under the violent totalitarian grip of Vladimir Putin.
