Time on the Shannon reveals a quiet, secluded and beautiful side of Ireland you otherwise wouldn’t see.

I am always tempted to recommend Shannon cruising to everyone I meet. I don’t, because the only people who ever took up my recommendation hated it so much that they abandoned a ten day trip after day two. Something about showering in a room the size of a small wardrobe and travelling everywhere at seven kilometres an hour wasn’t for them.
