The Irish radio industry was worth €145 million in 2021, according to recently released official figures from Radiocentre Ireland, the representative group. The release of this information has been a long time coming.

The level of suspicion between radio operators has been such that they have kept their financial performances secret, until now. For ill-founded reasons, they have traditionally refused to reveal just how well they have been performing.
