Hosted by broadcaster Ivan Yates, the awards celebrated the very best achievements from the residential and commercial sectors in Ireland.

Attended by 450 guests, the event recognised and celebrated organisations and individuals from the entire property industry across 16 categories, with winners spanning key areas such as development, sustainability, innovation and leadership in the sector.

Opening the awards ceremony, Business Post chief executive Sarah Murphy highlighted the importance of recognising excellence in the sector.

“The Business Post has been facilitating dialogue to support the growth of the property market over the entirety of its 30-year history,” she said. “In this past year, we have witnessed remarkable developments in the Irish property market, reflecting resilience, innovation and a steadfast commitment to sustainability.

“The National Property Awards is an important platform for thriving property businesses to come together annually, and the event succeeds in acknowledging and celebrating the organisations and individuals that have displayed the aptitude to embrace change and the flexibility to adapt to a changing market.”

The Outstanding Leader in Property  award was presented to Marie Hunt, head of research at Iput Real Estate Dublin.

A chartered surveyor who is well respected in Irish business and property circles, Marie established a highly successful research function at CBRE that is regarded as one of the most authoritative sources of information and thought leadership on the Irish economy and real estate market.

Over her career, Marie has published many reports on a range of real estate sectors including residential and commercial. Marie is the current chair of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) in Ireland and a member of its European board.

On receiving the award, she said: “Thank you to all the judges for nominating me for this award. It is very humbling and I am appreciative. 2025 is my 30th year working in the real estate sector and in that time, I would like to think that I have helped some people and given something back along the way.”

Michael O’Flynn, chief executive and chairman of O’Flynn Group received the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of his significant impact on the property industry in Ireland. O’Flynn’s career spans nearly five decades, during which he has played a pivotal role in shaping Ireland’s built environment. Through O’Flynn Group, he has led major residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, delivering high-quality projects that have had a lasting impact on communities across the country.

Accepting the award, he said: “I am incredibly humbled but also immensely proud to receive the Business Post Property Lifetime Achievement Award tonight.

“I would like to thank the judges for paying tribute to my 47 years in the property industry.

“This award is also recognition of the calibre, expertise and vision of my team in O’Flynn Group. I hope, during my career, I have used my experience and knowledge to inspire others within the industry and contributed to the sector as a whole.”

Established in 2022, the National Property Awards were organised by the Business Post and sponsored by Maples Group, PLACEengage, Daft.ie, PrepayPower and iProperty Radio as radio partners.
