With over 750 staff across offices in Dublin, Galway and Limerick, Mazars is a leading Irish audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm with a global reach and an innovative outlook.
Having recently revealed that it will form a top-ten global network this summer with US firm Forvis, called Forvis Mazars, the financial company has also just announced the launch of the inaugural Irish Investor Awards which will take place next year in Ireland.
These awards will aim to recognise and celebrate the commitment and innovation demonstrated by individuals and organisations within the Irish private equity and venture capital space. With a diverse range of 16 categories, the awards will offer a unique platform for industry professionals to showcase their expertise and dedication.
At Mazars, we believe it is essential to recognise and celebrate the achievements of prominent private equity and venture capital firms
Speaking at the launch of the awards, John Bowe, corporate finance partner at Mazars, stressed the importance of supporting and highlighting the great work being undertaken across the industry.
“We are delighted to host the inaugural Irish Investor Awards,” he said. “Irish and international private equity and venture capital funds play a pivotal role as crucial funding sources and value-add partners for Irish companies and entrepreneurs seeking to cultivate leading enterprises within Ireland. As these domestic companies expand, they not only contribute significantly to employment in Ireland but also serve as the backbone of the Irish economy.
“So, it is imperative to continue supporting and funding these companies, and at Mazars, we believe it is essential to recognise and celebrate the achievements of prominent private equity and venture capital firms through a dedicated Irish awards night. Additionally, we recognise the invaluable contributions of other stakeholders such as advisers, debt providers, diligence professionals, and corporate lawyers, whose collective expertise is instrumental in making deals happen."
Interested companies and individuals can submit their entries via the online entry form available on the official awards website – and the deadline for submissions is February 9, 2024, with the winners announced at a gala awards ceremony which will take place in the historic Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin on Friday, May 17, 2024.
The judging panel, composed of highly regarded professionals from diverse backgrounds and industries, ensures a comprehensive and unbiased evaluation process. Their collective expertise guarantees that each nominee receives a fair assessment, considering different viewpoints to highlight the unique strengths and accomplishments within the industry.
