The young people presenting the 550 projects at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition looked at their local areas for inspiration

The queues were orderly last Wednesday morning, with good cause. The students didn’t need to be told to be careful: most of those in the line at the entrance to the RDS were carrying posters and other elements of their projects as they got ready to wow the judges at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.
