The journey of this species of ours to the stars took another big step as Voyager 2 finally entered interstellar space, 41 years after it was launched.
Despite the name, it was actually the first of the Voyager missions sent into space. The name for the probes was chosen from a public vote, which means it if happened today it would probably Probey McProbeface.
