Virtualisation allows Irish businesses to stretch their ever-shrinking IT budgets further, writes Ross O’Neill
As virtualisation technology advances, the limitations and barriers that were once declared in the past are slowly being overcome and, with it, more and more elements of a data centre can be virtualised. Virtualisation of all servers is becoming a growing trend, a trend which is only going to continue to grow as more and more of these technical challenges are overcome and it is expected that this will lead to further automation and orchestration of workloads.
