Some 150 events took place across Ireland last week for the Hour of Code. The global project, run by Code.org, is an effort to get more people of all ages interested in coding.
Digital Schools, CoderDojo, Junior Achievement Ireland and Microsoft support the project in Ireland. As part of the series of events, Microsoft also worked with the Arts Council on a seminar examining the role of technology in the arts.
