Once held in Dublin, the giant tech conference has now committed to its new host city, Lisbon, for up to ten years. The weather at last week’s event, though, was a reminder of home and its own beginnings

It rained in Lisbon. The crowd got off the train late on Tuesday night in Anjos station in a downpour. The Web Summit may not be coming back to Dublin, but the weather this year was distinctly Irish.
