Changes to PAYE reporting have added an additional burden to small business, but with the right software reporting can be improved for employers and employees alike, writes Jason Walsh
PAYE modernisation came into effect this year and compliance has been high – as might be hoped for a system designed specifically to improve reporting compliance – but the new rules can seem arduous for small business, particularly micro-employers which do not have full-time administrative staff and previously pushed PAYE off to external accountants.
