Some Silicon Valley players have now cut ties with Thiel
Last week, it emerged that Silicon Valley investor and founder Peter Thiel made a donation of $1.25 million to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Thiel is a powerful billionaire who has founded, among other things, relatively secretive big-data-mining company Palantir, Silicon Valley’s third most valuable company, which makes a large chunk of its money through government contracts.
