Mayo woman Norah Patten is to take part in a moon analogue mission in Poland

Depending on how you count, there have been between 533 and 546 people in space depending on classification. Of the 12 people who have walked on the moon, only 5 remain alive. Only a pair of folk from across the water in Britain have managed to go all the way up into the heavens.
