Netwatch spreads its wings in the US

The Carlow-based IT security firm has come a long way from its humble beginnings in a morass of cassette tapes and phone lines, writes Emmet Ryan

The Carlow-based IT security company Netwatch is aiming to double its revenues to €40 million per year by 2020 and expects to open an office in Los Angeles in the near future, its fifth in the US.

Netwatch, which was founded in 2002, has 220 staff, the bulk of whom are based at its headquarters in Carlow town. The company also has offices in Boston, New York, Pittsburgh and Chicago.
