Last week, Enterprise Ireland held an event at Dublin Castle to showcase the start-ups it has supported over the last year.

Speaking at the event, Enterprise Ireland’s chief executive Julie Sinnamon said that start-ups were the “lifeblood of the Irish economy”, which was the media’s favourite quote. Twitter’s favourite soundbite appeared to be Frontline Ventures’ Will Prendergast’s remark about how “ambition is nothing without aggression”.
