HP sets out its blueprint for driving a low-carbon economy
The company’s goal is to increase recycled content plastic in its personal systems and print hardware and supplies to 30 per cent by 2025
HP, the print and computer company, has been a leader in sustainability since 1987, according to managing director Gary Tierney. “Sustainability has always been at the core of HP,” he said. “We have had a take-back programme for hardware and supplies since 1987. We have always fared very well in comparison to other companies globally. We try to deal with sustainability through three prisms: planet, communities and people.”
