Dublin City Council to receive report on the Web Summit loss

It is expected to find that the city needs a co-ordinating body for major events

Dublin City Council will today receive a report on why the Web Summit is leaving the city.

It comes after chief executive and co-founder Paddy Cosgrave announced last month that the conference will move to Portugal in 2016.

It is the first time the conference will take place outside of Dublin.
