Fidelity Investments has marked up the value of its stake in Stripe, the online payments company, having downgraded it earlier this year.

The move comes as the chief executive of Plaid, a US-headquartered fintech and former partner company, publicly accused Stripe of underhand tactics, which Stripe has vehemently denied.
