Salesforce confirms 25 per cent drop in hiring in 2022

Salesforcem which employs about 2,000 people in Ireland, will hire 25 per cent fewer staff this year compared to 2021, the software giant has confirmed. In 2022, the business hired 20,000 staff globally but has set a target of just 15,000 for this year.

Confirmation follows the leaking of a memo in May that revealed Salesforce would slow hiring this year but the extent of the reduction in hiring was previously unknown.
