Revolut now has 2m Irish customers

Neobank’s number of users has doubled since May 2020, with more than 1,000 signing up a day

Revolut now has close to two million customers in Ireland and its user base has doubled over the past two years, Vlad Yatsenko, the neobank's co-founder has said.

In a speech delivered in Dublin today, Yatsenko, who serves as the company’s chief technology officer, said the appetite shown for the company’s services had taken it by surprise given it had not made concrete efforts to popularise Revolut locally when it launched here in 2017.
