Meta updates privacy system in response to ‘feedback from regulators’

The parent company of Facebook says it aims to update its policies more frequently

The updates will give no new rights to data, Meta has said

Meta has updated the Privacy Centre on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger in a move it described as being in response to demands from legislators and regulators.

“It’s not to address new challenges, we want to be responsive to feedback from experts and regulators,” Stefano Fratta, EMEA privacy policy director at Meta, told the Business Post.
