Irish edtech ETU bought by US funds in €50m+ deal

The Trinity College Dublin elearning spinout has been bought by the search fund in a deal understood to be worth over €50 million

ETU, formerly known as Empower the User, has been purchased by a search fund led by Mission Springs Ventures and Pacific Lake Ventures, both of which are US based. The value of the deal has not been disclosed but it is understood that it is worth over €50 million.
