New report shows 18% decline in investment in European start-ups but there still remains ‘dry powder’ to deploy

Investment in Irish tech companies has surpassed $1 billion for a second time, despite the slowdown in the tech sector.

The news comes as a report indicates that European investment is projected to hit around $85 billion in investment in 2022 – short of last year’s record $121 billion, but still the second-highest amount ever invested in tech start-ups in Europe.
