Huawei to create 200 jobs with opening of European cloud hub in Dublin

Hub will store data from European users of the Chinese company’s cloud business in Dublin as part of a new €150m investment

Huawei is to create 200 jobs in Ireland as part of a new €150 million investment that sees the Chinese company establishing its first European cloud hub in Dublin.

The company said 60 jobs will be created over the next two years at the hub, with headcount rising to 200 by 2027. The new roles include positions in sales, pre-sales, legal, tax, operational, management and research.
