Fortune of Stripe’s Collison brothers falls by $8bn in six months due to ‘tech wreck’
The tech founders’ fortunes were revised again last week after Stripe slashed the internal valuation of its shares for the third time since June
The combined value of Patrick and John Collison’s personal fortunes has declined by almost $8 billion since the so-called “tech wreck” got underway last year, new figures show.
Bloomberg's Billionaire Index, which tracks the wealth of business leaders, estimates that the Stripe founders are now worth an estimated $7.54 billion each compared to $11.4 billion each in July 2022.
