Enterprise Ireland invests €27m in over 160 start-ups

New figures have been released to coincide with the state agency’s ‘Start-up Showcase’ event

Enterprise Ireland invested €27 million in 161 start-ups last year, newly-released figures show.

This compares to €28 million invested in 125 start-ups in 2022.

The figures have been released to coincide with the state agency’s ‘Start-up Showcase’, which takes place this week.

According to Enterprise Ireland, half of the start-ups it backed last year were based outside of Dublin. In addition, over one-third are led by women.
