Digital pathology company Deciphex raises $11.5m

Novartis and Charles River Laboratories among the backers in Series B funding round led by Act Venture Capital

Deciphex, an Irish company that develops software to accelerate the delivery of pathology services, has raised $11.5 million (€10.9 million) from backers that include pharma giant Novartis and contact research organisation Charles River Laboratories.

Dublin-based Act Venture Capital led the latest financing which brings total funding to date for Deciphex to $19.5 million. Other participants in the Series B fund include Irrus Investments, Nextsteps Capital and the HBAN Medtech Syndicate.
