ComReg moves to prevent disruption to broadband services after legal challenge by Three

Move comes after Three Ireland was last week granted a stay that means a spectrum auction cannot now be held this week

ComReg recently signalled it intended to withdraw operator access to broadband services in tandem with the closing of the auction process in October, leading to concerns about disruption for mobile internet users

The communications regulator has stepped in to ensure there will be no disruption of service for mobile users linked to the granting of a stay on a multimillion euro auction of radio spectrum for broadband services that include 5G.
