Collison brothers use annual event to push Shannon region
Shannon is ‘a story of the beneficial effects of globalisation and low barriers to trade,’ Patrick Collison says
Patrick and John Collison, Stripe co-founders, opened the company’s annual Stripe Sessions event from the Shannon Free Zone and used the virtual get together to promote the benefits of the region.
The event, which took place earlier this week, was primarily built around product launches but both of the brothers, who are from Tipperary and attended school in Limerick, made heavy mention of the region and Ireland throughout the event.
